If you combine a bit of klezmer, a bit of rock, a bit of jazz-schmazz and good old-fasioned prairie gypsy folk – THEN throw some cocky lyrics and good story telling into the mix, what you get is The Whiskey Jerks debut album ‘Neat.
Comprised of the talented Anna Bekolay (violin and voice), James Diakuw (clarinet and voice), Nevin Buehler (upright bass), Peter Abonyi (guitar), Kevin Buzinski (percussion), and Gillian Snider (voice and accordion), the Whiskey Jerks have created a unique and original sound that blends klezmer, folk, rock, country-blues, gypsy-punk and jazz with a distinct and honest prairie sound.
